Solid wood Thonet chair built at the beginning of the 20th century. There are two equal units of this product.

The Thonet Brothers revolutionized the furniture industry in the mid-19th century. Founding father Michael Thonet invented the industrial bentwood manufacturing process.

Thanks to the new manufacturing process, the entire furniture industry was reinvented. The manufacture of a chair using curved wood ceased to be a traditional, long and expensive process. It was now possible to mass-manufacture high-quality chairs using his new method.

His sons created the company Gebrüder Thonet or Thonet Brothers and expanded into the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.

And the world of chair and armchair design opened up before him. From here a whole collection of Thonet chairs was born. We can find Thonet chairs and armchairs in all corners of Europe. Its expansion occupied bars and restaurants. For example, the famous Thonet chair number 14 was the queen of Paris. And in every house, patio and palace there was a space where an original Thonet chair could be added.
