<transcy>El ''Puente del Arzobispo'' cow pitcher set</transcy>

Set of three cow-shaped ceramic pitchers from El Puente del Arzobispo, a town in La Mancha near Talavera de la Reina (Toledo). Made in the second half of the 20th century. Majolica pottery: clay decorated with metallic enamels. This type of pottery is known for designs featuring animals (such as bulls, roosters, cows) and landscapes. With openings in the cow snouts, they can be used as pitchers, vases or decorative objects.

Three sizes: large cow (26 cm tall x 12 cm diameter), medium cow (23 cm tall x 11.5 cm diameter), small cow (10.5 cm tall x 7 cm diameter).
